The Research Group for EU/EEA Commercial Law and Bergen Centre for Competition Law and
Economics (BECCLE) are pleased to invite you to a seminar with senior advisor at the Swedish
Competition Authority, Katharina Voss, Thursday the 22nd of August at the Faculty of Law,
University of Bergen.

Voss defended her PhD thesis entitled “Between Enforcement and Regulation. A Study of the System
of Case Resolution Mechanisms used by the European Commission in the Enforcement of Articles
101 and 102 TFEU” in April 2019. At the seminar, Voss will talk about her research and the main
findings of her thesis. In her thesis, Voss examines the current design of the system of case resolution
mechanisms used by the European Commission where an infringement of Articles 101 and 102 TFEU
is suspected. She further advances some proposals regarding this design. Please note that the seminar will not be recorded.
